Custom inflatable character for the Montreux Comedy Club
Digital Inflatables designed and built a small custom inflatable structure for the Montreux Comedy Club in 2024. Yellow all over, it shows a smiling, winking face beneath a large black initial and stands on a black base. The post thanks Trivial Mass, a communication agency based in Lausanne.
What did Digital Inflatables make for the Montreux Comedy Club?
A small yellow inflatable with a smiling, winking face and a large black initial on top.
It stands on a black base. In the video it is set up indoors, in a hall lit by tall windows, with a red carpet and dark benches.
The post thanks Trivial Mass, a communication agency based in Lausanne.
What is the Montreux Comedy Festival?
A comedy festival: its 35th edition took place from 13 to 23 November 2024 at the Théâtre de Beaulieu in Lausanne.
The Digital Inflatables post tags the account of Montreux Comedy, which runs this festival.
In 2024 the festival was held in Lausanne because of works at the congress centre in Montreux.

Request a quoteWhy use a custom inflatable at a comedy festival or a theatre?
It makes the identity of the venue or event visible, in a foyer or outdoors, and packs away easily between shows.
A small inflatable goes up quickly with a blower and fits next to an entrance or a bar; it becomes a meeting point and a backdrop for the audience’s photos.
More characters and mascots by the workshop are on the giant inflatable mascots and characters page; for budgets, see the guide to custom inflatable prices.

Frequently asked questions
Who made the Montreux Comedy Club inflatable?
Digital Inflatables, in 2024; the post thanks the agency Trivial Mass.
Is a small inflatable quick to set up?
Yes: it inflates with its blower as soon as it is switched on, then deflates and folds away at the end of the evening.
Can an inflatable be set up in a theatre foyer?
Yes, if the ceiling height allows and the blower, which makes some noise, can be placed away from the audience.
Can a festival have its logo or mascot made as an inflatable?
Yes: the workshop starts from the logo or a sketch, shows a 3D mock-up, then makes the piece at the required size. Steps and timings are set out in the guide to custom inflatable lead times.
