Giant inflatable butterflies hung as party decor
In 2020, Digital Inflatables published two large inflatable butterflies, one turquoise and one orange, hanging from the ceiling of a party venue above a crowd, among confetti and stage lights. The caption recalls a party from before covid19. Wider than the people below, the butterflies fill the height of the room without crowding the dance floor.
What do the inflatable butterflies published by Digital Inflatables look like?
Two large inflatable butterflies hang from the ceiling: one turquoise, the other orange with black markings.
Below them, a dense crowd stands under confetti and streamers, with stage lights and a painted psychedelic backdrop at the top of the frame.
Striped inflatable cones also appear in a corner of the room.
How do you hang inflatable decor above a crowd?
The inflatable is rigged to the roof structure or the lighting grid at hanging points built in during manufacture, at a height that leaves the space below clear.
For a party or a concert, the organizer checks the rigging and the fabric’s fire rating. The guide to inflatable stage sets for festivals covers these points.

Request a quoteWhy choose inflatable butterflies for a party?
A large colourful butterfly turns a ceiling into decor, can be seen from everywhere and folds away after the event.
Wide wings and bright colours catch the light of the spotlights. For budgets, see the guide to custom inflatable prices.
