Printed inflatable dome for HYVE Music Festival
In 2022, Digital Inflatables designed and built a printed inflatable dome for HYVE Music Festival. Its white skin carries blue and green geometric patterns and the name HYVEMUSICFESTIVAL in large letters. Printed in an event’s colours, a dome like this acts as a landmark on a festival site and can house a bar, a meeting point or a small stage.
What did Digital Inflatables make for HYVE Music Festival?
A white inflatable dome printed with blue and green geometric patterns and the name HYVEMUSICFESTIVAL.
In the video the workshop posted in 2022, the dome stands against a black background, with a message wishing a good summer.
The angular patterns cover the whole skin, and the festival name stretches across the wall in capital letters: the print turns the dome itself into a branding surface.
What is an inflatable dome used for at a music festival?
It quickly creates a covered space for a bar, a meeting point or a small stage, while showing the festival’s identity.
Printed in the event’s colours, the dome becomes a landmark visible from afar on the site, and a backdrop for the audience’s photos.
More stage set ideas for events are gathered in the guide to inflatable stage sets for festivals.

A blower inflates the structure, then the dome is secured with ballast or stakes depending on the ground.
For a large format, the workshop built, for example, the 20 m inflatable dome for the PlanetSolar Foundation, with a dual pressure system and emergency power.
The budgets to plan for are detailed in the guide to custom inflatable structure prices.
