Giant inflatable fish suspended from cables
- Posted
- 2025
In 2025, Digital Inflatables showed a large inflatable fish in orange, blue and yellow, with textured scales and a detailed eye, suspended from cables against a black background. The caption invites viewers to think of inflatables for their next project, to move and impress an audience. Lit from the front, the fish seems to swim above a dark floor.
What does the inflatable fish video show?
A brightly coloured inflatable fish in orange, blue and yellow, hung from cables and lit from the front against a black background.
The scales, fins and eye are printed in detail, so the animal looks convincing even up close.
The 2025 video carries the Digital Inflatables logo in one corner.
How is a giant inflatable animal suspended?
Attachment points are sewn into the fabric, then the animal is hung from a frame or the ceiling with adjustable cables that spread its weight.
A blower connected by a hose keeps the shape inflated; for some durations a sealed version without a blower is also possible. The guide to constant air, sealed and helium inflatables compares the options.
Giant inflatable characters and animals are often hung this way in halls, museums and theatres.

Request a quoteWhy hang an inflatable animal over a stage or in an exhibition?
A suspended animal makes a strong image with little equipment: it fills the space above the audience without blocking circulation.
Against a black background and well lit, as here, it reads like a piece of stage set or window display. The guide to inflatable stage sets for festivals shows other uses.
