Giant grey inflatable sphere with vertical light strips
In 2023, Digital Inflatables posted a video of a large grey inflatable sphere striped with vertical white light strips, almost filling a hall with a timber roof. A person standing in front of it gives the scale. The video has no caption and names no client or place. A light sphere like this works as a centrepiece for a party, a trade fair or a stage set.
What does the video of the grey light sphere show?
A large grey inflatable sphere with vertical white light strips, in a hall with a timber roof.
A person standing in front of the sphere shows its size, and a wooden figure stands to the right. The video carries the Digital Inflatables logo.
No caption gives the client, the place or the dimensions.
How are light strips built into an inflatable sphere?
Light ribbons or strips of diffusing fabric sit on or under the membrane, following the meridians of the sphere.
The lighting can be static or animated, and power runs through the anchor point or the blower.
The guide to custom inflatable structure prices and the guide to custom inflatable lead times give benchmarks.
