Hanging inflatable spheres at CEATEC 2019 in Japan
Digital Inflatables showed large transparent inflatable spheres hanging in a hall at CEATEC 2019, held at Makuhari Messe in Japan from 15 to 18 October 2019. Printed with orange "IoT" and "Industrial Solutions" discs, they mark a booth from the ceiling, above the visitors. The caption calls it a simple but efficient way to build a good-looking trade show booth.
What do the inflatable spheres at CEATEC 2019 show?
Several large transparent spheres hang at different heights under the hall’s roof trusses, each with an orange disc reading "IoT" or "Industrial Solutions".
Below them, white booth walls and screens face the aisles. Because the spheres hang above the crowd, they flag the booth from far away without taking any floor space.
The Digital Inflatables post sums up the idea in one line: a simple but efficient way to make a nice booth.
What is CEATEC and where was the 2019 edition held?
CEATEC 2019 took place from 15 to 18 October 2019 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.
That edition brought together 787 exhibiting companies and organizations.
In an exhibition hall of that size, a hanging landmark helps visitors find one booth among all the others.

Request a quoteHow do you hang an inflatable sphere above a trade show booth?
It is rigged to the hall’s roof structure with cables or poles, once the show organizer has approved the hanging points.
An air-filled sphere stays light and can be set at a height that leaves the aisle clear. The logo is printed on the fabric or on a disc attached to the sphere so it reads from a distance.
